Discover the beauty of Catholic faith through reflections on the Hail Mary, Saint Joseph’s humble example, a transformative retreat experience, and the hopeful launch of a new ADMA chapter in South Sudan. A journey of prayer, family, and Christian community.
In March 2025, ADMA Online extends a warm and heartfelt invitation to all of us—to become Pilgrims of Hope, journeying together with young people toward the light of Easter.
In this post, we’ll explore the heart of ADMA’s message, bringing it to life through vivid imagery and thoughtful reflection. As we dive deeper, may you rediscover the spark of hope within and be reminded of the beauty of walking together in community.
Most of all, you are invited to join this meaningful journey—a path of love, solidarity, and shared faith with the younger generation.
1. Why Is Hope So Essential Today?
Our modern world faces an overwhelming array of challenges—wars, economic instability, and the climate crisis, to name just a few. In the midst of such uncertainty, our faith in the future often feels fragile.
Yet ADMA Online reminds us that hope is not just desirable—it is essential. It is the very force that helps us move forward in times of hardship.
For Christians, hope goes beyond mere optimism. It is rooted in a deep trust that God is always with us, even in the darkest moments.
St. John Bosco was a beacon of hope for poor and marginalized youth. Through education and faith, he opened a path toward a brighter future, becoming a living example of what it means to inspire hope in others.
2. Pilgrims Walking with the Young
Today’s young people are searching—longing for genuine relationships and trustworthy values to guide their lives.
ADMA Online calls each of us to become companions on their journey. This mission isn’t limited to parents or educators alone—it extends to everyone: consecrated people, lay members, and the wider faith community.
To walk with the young means truly listening to their stories, sharing in their struggles, and building relationships rooted in trust. It’s a sacred responsibility—to support their growth and to walk beside them with love, patience, and hope.
3. Mary, Mother of Hope
Mary, as the Mother of Hope, embodies unwavering trust in God's promises. Her life stands as a powerful example of resilience and faith—teaching us how to remain courageous and steadfast, even in the face of great trials.
Entrusting ourselves to Mary today is more than a devotional act; it’s a source of deep comfort and assurance that goodness will prevail.
Her quiet strength and enduring faith continue to breathe hope into our hearts, reminding us that we are never alone on the journey.
4. The Resurrection: The Ultimate Triumph of Hope
The Resurrection is the ultimate victory of hope. It proclaims that through love, solidarity, and forgiveness, the world can be transformed.
ADMA Online urges each of us to carry the light of this hope and become living witnesses—spreading love and peace wherever we go.
The message of the Resurrection gives us the courage to begin again. It reminds us that a better world is not just a dream, but a hope we are called to live out, day by day.
5. Ave Maria and the Hail Mary: A Prayer Filled with Hope
The Hail Mary is a beautiful prayer rooted in the words of the Gospel. Composed of the angel Gabriel’s greeting and Elizabeth’s exclamation, this prayer overflows with praise and supplication to the Mother of God. More than just a simple prayer, the Hail Mary carries the tradition of God’s word and a deep faith that Mary hears our prayers with joy. As one who is full of God’s grace, Mary is believed to intercede on our behalf, allowing us to receive divine blessings through her.
6. Saint Joseph: A Model of Humility and Faith
Saint Joseph, a humble carpenter, was betrothed to Mary. Always ready to follow the will of God, he devoted himself to protecting and raising Jesus as His legal father. Joseph was a man of true faith, living a life of discernment and obedience to God's will. His life stands as an exemplary model for all Christian families to follow.
7. Retreat at Prasharbong: A Deep Encounter with God
The retreat at Prasharbong was more than a time of silence and reflection—it was a precious opportunity for a profound encounter with God. It became a shared journey of faith with family, reminding us that we never walk this path alone. Through a communal experience, we prayed together and found ways to live out our faith in everyday life. The retreat helped us realize that faith is not confined to grand gestures or special moments, but comes alive in the practice of small acts of love in our daily lives.
8. A New ADMA Chapter in South Sudan: Seeds of Hope
The Salesian community in Wau, South Sudan, has planted seeds of hope by establishing a new chapter of ADMA (Association of Mary Help of Christians). This initiative was launched in celebration of the feast of Saint John Bosco, the founder of the Salesian Society. In line with the intentions of Pope Francis, ADMA groups around the world are called to pray for families in crisis.
Through messages shared by ADMA Online, we rediscover hope, walk the path of pilgrimage with young people, and put into action the values of love and solidarity. Let us join this journey and help build a more beautiful world together.
