1. Judas Iscariot's Betrayal

Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went to the chief priests and agreed to betray Jesus for thirty pieces of silver . From that moment on, he sought an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them .

2. Preparation for the Passover Meal

On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples asked Jesus where they should prepare for him to eat the Passover . Jesus instructed them to go into the city to a certain man and tell him that the teacher's appointed time was near and that he would celebrate the Passover with his disciples in his house . The disciples followed Jesus's instructions and prepared the Passover .

3. Betrayal Foretold at the Last Supper

When evening came, Jesus reclined at the table with the twelve disciples . While they were eating, he said, "Amen, I say to you, one of you will betray me" . The disciples were deeply distressed and began to ask him one after another, "Surely it is not I, Lord?" .
